We invite you to join Implant Expert Dr Minas Leventis DDS, MSc, PhD on a comprehensive interacting hands-on course to learn when, why, how ...
3BEAM, 86 Harley Street Marylebone, W1G 7HP London
Peri-implant soft tissue conditioning is a fundamental step for the delivery of an anatomically shaped, proper prosthesis that can allow efficient plaque control on behalf of the patient and complies with all functional, biological and aesthetic requirements. The use of anatomically shaped healing abutments at the time of surgery constitutes an easy method that can be applied to achieve soft tissue dimensions enhancement and soft tissue topography conditioning in an efficient but yet simple, fast and cost-effective manner.
In this course, Dr Leventis will share his experience and describe the important benefits offered to him by using customised anatomical healing abutments in his everyday implant cases. Through the presentation of the theoretical background and numerous clinical cases, Dr Leventis will demonstrate simplified methods and protocols for the selection and fabrication of anatomical healing abutments and duplicate impression posts to enhance the dimensions and topography of the peri-implant soft tissue in every implant case and to accurately record the latter to achieve the ideal restorative result.
The hands-on part of the course will focus on the process of selection and customisation of stock prosthetic components to anatomically shaped with the use of the Cervico System. You will also have the opportunity to meet the founders of 3Beam, who will answer all your questions about CBCT scans and why to refer to them.
At the end of the course, you will be rewarded with 4 hours verifiable CPC certificate and have a chance to buy the Cervico Premium system with 10% off on the day.
Refreshments will be provided thought the day.

· To understand the importance of conditioning properly the dimensions and topography of the peri-implant soft tissues, which can be achieved by the precise prosthetically driven implant placement and the fabrication and installation onto the implant of a customized anatomical healer.
· To be aware of the possibilities and benefits of using customized anatomical healing abutments and duplicate impression posts.
· To share information and experience in clinical cases using the Cervico System.
· To discuss how to reduce the clinical steps and achieve successful and predictable results in everyday implant cases.
· A basic theoretical understanding of the biology, anatomy and significance of the peri-implant soft tissues.
· Familiarization with the selection and fabrication process of anatomically shaped prosthetic components (customized healing abutments and duplicate impression posts) utilizing the Cervico System.
· Exposure to simplified protocols and techniques for prosthetically driven implant placement and prosthetically assisted soft tissue dimensions enhancement and soft tissue profile anatomical conditioning with the use of an anatomically shaped healing abutment at the time of surgery - when how and why they may be applied.
